PER C. OLSON

Facing criminal charges can be a frightening experience. When the whole world seems to be against you, it's important to have a strong advocate on your side. Per's philosophy is to help you play an active role in defending your rights. He will keep you fully informed of all important decisions, while vigorously pursuing the path to the best possible result.

After graduating cum laude from law school, Per served as law clerk for Hon. Robert W. Redding, a trial court judge in Portland (1994-1995), and for Hon. George A. Van Hoomissen, a Justice of the Oregon Supreme Court (1995-1997). Per joined the firm in 1998 and was named a shareholder in January of 2005. He represents defendants in state and federal court.

Per is a current member of the Oregon Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and local, state, and federal bar associations. Per is a former chair and member of the Pro Bono Committee of the Oregon State Bar's New Lawyer Division (1993 through 2000). Per has also served on the board of directors of Hands On Portland, a nonprofit organization that promotes volunteering in the community (1997-2003).
