officers in the defense of federal and state investigations or
indictments charging economic crimes including Medicare and Medicaid
fraud, tax fraud and tax evasion, environmental and customs offenses.
- Ron Hoevet represented a target in the Capital Consultants
scandal.
- In 1994, Ron Hoevet and Whitney Boise defended Jeff Gillooly
on racketeering charges arising from the 1994 pre-Olympic assault
on figure skater Nancy Kerrigan.
- Hoevet, Boise, & Olson,
P.C. also has a long history of providing aggressive criminal defense
for individuals charged in state or federal court with violations
of the drug laws, allegations of sexual assault and Measure 11
offenses.
- Mr. Hoevet and Mr. Boise have defended Oregon residents
in federal courts in Washington, California, Idaho and Montana.

entities affiliated with the commune in Central Oregon established
by Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh and his followers. The firm represented
both the Rajneesh Investment Trust and individuals from the community
who were named as defendants in numerous civil and criminal cases
in the state and federal courts.

allegations regarding misuse of state funds.

numerous individuals who were under investigation as a result of
the savings and loan crisis which resulted in the closing of several
financial institutions in Oregon.

P.C. represented a contractor against allegations that it had made
false claims to the government as a result of its participation
in Desert Storm.

terrorism in the "Portland Six" case.
